QUANTIFYING THREATS ALONG TOURIST TRAILS: AN INITIAL APPROACH.

ABSTRACT: The current information society permits but also forces new techniques in hazard calculus. Outdoor activities, hiking became has increasing popularity. The tourist of our days also wants to know as much as possible regarding the trail what he will go to. Current information regarding these trails doesn’t contain a hazard along the trails. In our research will started to develop a methodology to can assess hazard levels to each tourist trails identifying the threat sources and categories and developing quantitative methods for calculating it.
